SalaamTrip.com is a halal travel and hospitality platform operated under the laws of Brunei Darussalam, managed by HT Corporation (B) Sdn Bhd as the Regional Head Office for ASEAN, and part of the Global Halal Consortium (a private corporate waqf).


2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make bookings or enter into contracts via SalaamTrip.com.
  • Users under 18 may use the services only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • By using our services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. Services Provided

SalaamTrip offers:

  • Halal travel packages, Umrah and heritage tours, halal holidays, and retreats
  • Hospitality bookings (hotels, resorts, dining, wellness services)
  • Business and corporate travel arrangements
  • Membership and loyalty programs

All services are subject to availability and confirmation.


4. User Responsibilities

By using SalaamTrip.com, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making bookings or registering.
  • Not misuse the site for unlawful purposes or in violation of Islamic ethical principles.
  • Be responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and compliance with travel regulations.
  • Respect local laws, cultures, and halal standards at all destinations.

5. Bookings & Payments

  • Prices are quoted in [currency] unless otherwise stated.
  • Payments must be made through approved channels (e.g., secure online payment gateway).
  • Some bookings may require non-refundable deposits; refund policies will be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • SalaamTrip is not responsible for additional costs such as local taxes, surcharges, or third-party fees unless explicitly included.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation terms vary by package and service provider.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed according to the terms of the relevant airline, hotel, or partner.
  • SalaamTrip reserves the right to deduct administrative fees for cancellations.
  • In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, travel bans), SalaamTrip will work with users and partners to find reasonable alternatives but cannot guarantee full refunds.

7. Membership & Loyalty Programs

  • Memberships (Personal and Business) are subject to separate terms outlined in the Membership Charter.
  • Loyalty rewards and discounts are non-transferable and may be amended at SalaamTrip’s discretion.
  • Misuse of membership benefits may result in suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, logos, and content on SalaamTrip.com (including SalaamTrip & SalaamHospitality brands) are the property of Mohammed Noor / Global Halal Consortium.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit content without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

  • SalaamTrip partners with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and halal certification bodies.
  • We act as an intermediary and are not liable for the performance, acts, or omissions of third-party providers.
  • Users are encouraged to review the terms of third-party service providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SalaamTrip shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, travel delays, or cancellations beyond our control.
  • SalaamTrip does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
  • Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SalaamTrip, its operators, affiliates, and staff against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of services, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.


12. Responsible Tourism Commitment

SalaamTrip is committed to ethical, sustainable, and halal travel. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Travel responsibly, respecting communities, the environment, and Islamic values.
  • Avoid activities harmful to local cultures, wildlife, or natural habitats.

13. Termination

SalaamTrip may suspend or terminate your account or booking if you:

  • Breach these Terms or our Privacy Policy
  • Engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or unethical activities
  • Misuse SalaamTrip’s name, brand, or membership benefits

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation and, failing that, arbitration under the Brunei Darussalam Arbitration Centre (BDAC) rules.

15. Changes to Terms

SalaamTrip reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the website with a new effective date. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

SalaamTrip – Customer Booking Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SalaamTrip! We are delighted to be part of your halal travel journey. Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully before confirming your reservation. By booking with SalaamTrip, you agree to the following:


1. Booking & Payment

1.1 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, paid securely via SalaamTrip.com.
1.2 The remaining 80% balance must be paid directly to our local certified partner operator upon your arrival at the destination.
1.3 The balance may be paid in local currency, cash, or via available digital payment methods accepted by the operator.
1.4 Prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated, and include only the services specified in your package itinerary.


2. Confirmation & Travel Documents

2.1 Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a Booking Confirmation Voucher from SalaamTrip.
2.2 This voucher must be presented to the local partner operator at the start of your trip.
2.3 Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and travel documents for the journey.


3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 If you cancel your booking:

  • The 20% deposit is non-refundable.
  • If cancellation occurs less than 14 days before travel, additional charges may apply at the operator’s discretion.

3.2 If the partner operator cancels your booking:

  • SalaamTrip will arrange an alternative package of equal value or issue a refund of your deposit.

3.3 No refund is provided for no-shows or early departures once travel has commenced.


4. Changes to Itinerary

4.1 Minor changes (e.g., timing, order of visits) may be made by the operator due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.
4.2 If significant changes occur, you will be informed in advance, and alternatives will be provided.


5. Halal Standards & Services

5.1 SalaamTrip ensures all certified partners follow the Halal Tourism Standards Handbook.
5.2 Packages are designed to respect Muslim needs including halal food, prayer times, modest experiences, and family-friendly activities.


6. Responsibilities & Liability

6.1 SalaamTrip acts as a booking platform and facilitator. The actual services (transportation, tours, accommodation) are provided by local certified partner operators.
6.2 The local operator is fully responsible for on-ground service delivery, safety, and compliance with local regulations.
6.3 SalaamTrip is not liable for accidents, delays, losses, or changes outside its reasonable control.


7. Travel Insurance

7.1 All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance (covering medical, cancellation, and personal belongings).


8. Customer Conduct

8.1 Travelers are expected to respect local cultures, laws, and the principles of halal-friendly tourism.
8.2 The operator reserves the right to refuse service if behavior is unsafe, disrespectful, or unlawful.


9. Complaints & Support

9.1 If you encounter any issues during your trip, please inform the local operator immediately so they can assist.
9.2 You may also contact SalaamTrip’s customer support team via WhatsApp or email for further assistance.


10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam, with disputes referred to the Brunei Arbitration Centre.
